RES: [MW:26454] Welders Performance Monitoring

There are different ways to monitor the welding performance, usually you can use:

·         For RT: "Number of rejected films" per "Total Number of films"

·         For UT: "Length of defect" per "Total length inspected"

·         For Joints: "Number of Joints repaired" per "Total number of Joints" or "Number of cut of joints" per "Total number of joints"

You shall agree the method and the limits acceptable with your client during the bidding stage of the Project once it can involve high control costs.

Best regards

Dear Gents,

May I get a clarification about the welders performance Monitoring, is it

by :Defect Inchs/Total inchs Welded

or by :RT Film Rejected/Total RT Film Taken

or by :Defect Inchs/Total Inchs Examinated with RT

For Information the NDT carried out by other subcontractor.

Is there any of that in standards?

Thanks in advance.
