Re: [MW:25971] ASME sect I, Boiler Hydrotest

PG-99.3.1 is applicable for a specific type of boilers (forced flow generators with no fixed water lines).

Dear all,

  Need your expertise :

Construction code : ASME sect I & ASME B31.1 (Boiler construction project)
Subject : Pressure test on boiler

For boiler hydrotest our contrcator report that for superheater part, pressure etst will be performed at 1.25 MAWP  and not 1.5 MAWP.

ASME sect I, mention about in PG-99.3.1 but is not very clear for me.

Any one can give us interpretation for it please.

Thank you
