Dear Mac,
The chemical composition/properties of the tested material are aprx. meeting with SA335 P1/P2.
It should be tested when the material was received through PMI to confirm major elements like Cr, Mo, etc.
Regards,
Rajnish

Dear Sirs,
Project: Coal fired power plant ASME B31.1 CODE
We received a pipe material 1 inch dia with a material of
A335 P91.
This material had been welded.
During operational, 2 years after, one pipe burst out.
We send for testing to check the chemical composition.
Please see attached docs.
I checked on ASME Section II Part A and it was very far from
the chemical requirements of A335 P91.
My query is that, what kind of pipe material base on the
result of test report.
Your reply to this query will be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Mac
