Yes, intumescent paint is compatible with HDG. But first you need to specify the extend of fire proofing protection (1 hour or 2 hours) required. You may approach a consultant or paint manufacturer to select paint system and coating thickness requirement. Fire proof coat thickness depends on the section factors of structural items.
Price varies for each manufacturer.
