Dear Experts,

As per project specification the Hardness of carbon steels ( P.No - 1) shall not exceed a value of 200(HB)/210(Hv) in the base metal, weld metal and heat affected zone of equipment welds. Preheating or PWHT at site is required to archive Hardness value ( less than 200HB) regardless of thickness of plate when post weld heat treatment is required, one Brinell Hardness reading shall be teken on inside of each shell section, Head and Nozzle and each longitudinal, Girth and nozzle weld after final PWHT and no reading shall exceed a value of 200HB/210Hv.
Manufacturing code ASME Section-VIII Div-2.

Our contractors establish PQR at site and avg. Hardness value less than 200HB/210BV but some place of single value was more than 200HB/210Hv.
so requested to all please advice me ı will accepted the same PQR or not.
if yes so what base i will accepted the same PQR, please advice with code reference.

Hardness value records attached for ready reference.

Thanks & Regards
