Exl.For FCAW automatic Weld overlay
As per ASME sec.IX
a) Heat input= V x I x 60/ TS x 1000
OR
b) Heat input= V x I x TS/ WFS x AF
Where, V- Voltage
I- Current
TS- Welding travel speed
WFS- Filler metal wire feed speed.
Which one we can follow for FCAW or GTAW automatic Weld overlay.
