Good day!!!!
Refer to EN ISO 15614-1 "Ultrasonic testing shall not be used for t < 8 mm and not for material groups 8, 10, 41 to 48"
Where group 8 is Austenitic Stainless Steel, group 10 is duplex stainless steels and groups 41 to 48 are nickel alloys, As the Austenitic structure is common between the mentioned material groups, it seems that the limitation is related to this structure; why???
Meanwhile I have not seen this limitation in US standards.
