The test shall be conducted at a temperature lower than the design minimum temperature by an amount equal to the difference between the temperature reduction corresponding to the actual material thickness and the temperature reduction corresponding to the Charpy specimen width actually tested.
In your case test temp should be -62.7 °C

Dears,
Good day.I have one doubt about LTCS PQR regarding
temperature limit. Our PQR specimen is 5mm thickness and impact test at
2.5mm thick.In your design temp.is -46 degree.In ASME 31.3 and section
viii says .this 2.5 mm specimen allowed for -27degree.But our client comment is this PQR IS used only
-28 degree only.So explain about the correct thickness of specimen for
impact test at -46 temp.design temp.
Thanks and Regards
