[MW:23333] Re: regarding- thickness range for LTCS piping material for WPS

Dears,
Good day.I have one doubt about LTCS PQR regarding
temperature limit. Our PQR specimen is 5mm thickness and impact test at
2.5mm thick.In your design
temp.is -46 degree.In ASME 31.3 and section
viii says .this 2.5 mm specimen allowed for -27degree.But our client comment is this PQR IS used only
-28 degree only.So explain about the correct thickness of specimen for
impact test at -46 temp.design temp.

Thanks and Regards

Can any body suggest what thickness range is applied for qualifying a WPS (for thickness 7.11mm) for LTCS piping material. Please provide reference also.
