Dear Yogesh Pawar,Kindly see the attached details of options available, to weld MONEL (Cu-Ni)These are the products of Special Metals-USA.Also, enclosed is 'Selector Chart' for Nickel- based Alloys. In case, you need welding consumables for other Copper-based alloys, thenAMPCO - USA products are available.Best RegardsAshok Rai--On Sat, Dec 27, 2014 at 12:29 PM, 'c sridhar' via Materials & Welding <materials-welding@googlegroups.com> wrote:Nearest available electrode could be monel type with 70 Cu - 30 Ni.GMAW followed by SMAW is suitable GTAW.ECuNi- Coated ElectrodeCopper-nickel alloys and selected bronzes to themselves and to Alloy400 or Alloy 200Electrodes of the Copper-nickel classification are used for shielded metalarc welding or wrought or cast 70/30, 80/20 and 90/10 copper-nickel alloysto themselves or to each other. They also are used for welding the clad sideof copper-nickel clad steel. Preheating is generally not necessary.ERCuNi - Filler wire.Copper-nickel alloys and selected bronzes to themselves and to Alloy400 or Alloy 200.In Copper-nickel filler metals, the nickel addition strengthens the weld metaland improves the corrosion resistance, particularly against salt water. The weldmetal has good hot and cold ductility. Copper-nickel filler metals are used forwelding most copper-nickel alloys. When using the GTAW or GMAW processes, preheating is not required. Welding is done in all positionsSridhar.
