[MW:22713] Impact Testing for Flanges

Dear Experts,
We have received some sour service flanges (NACE MR-0175), These flanges are impact tested at 20 degree Celsius by the manufacturer.

Our specification calls as below.

" All Carbon steel materials of thickness greater than 12.7 mm must be impact tested at minus (-29 degree Celsius) in accordance with ASME B31.3 (para 323.3)"

The design temperature of the line is 50 degree Celsius.

Do i need to get the flanges tested at -29 degree Celsius to fulfill the specification.

Experts please advise.

Thanks,
Kiran
