Re: [MW:20952] C-Mn WPS.ER 70S2 to ER 70S6.

Both belong to SFA 5.18 and has same F & A nos.  

Er 70 S-2  has triple de-oxidizers like Al, Ti, Zn and helps to produce 100 % x-ray quality welds.

Er 70 S-6 is higher with percentage of Mn & Si comparatively, and forms MnO2, SiO2  but, 
consistency in the quality of weld not assured.

So, choice is different and up to u to decide.

Can i  used ER70S6 instead of ER70S2.?
Or need qualification? Due to high Mn %.
