Hi
As the name itself suggests, interpass temperature has to be measured on the weld bead /weld pass.
If you do not measure interpass temperature properly it will affect the notch toughness properties.

Subject: [MW:17950] Measurement of interpass temperature
Dear Experts,
Can anybody explain at which location interpass temperature to be measured during welding ?
Also what diference it will make in the weld metal property if we follow the wrong location of measurement of interpass temperature ?
Is it written in any where in any code, where interpass temperature to be measured ?
