Dear Sumod,

It is very clear from the table 136.4, that when piping design conditions require Temperatures 'Over 750°F (400°C) and at All Pressures 

Butt welds (girth and longitudinal welds) - RT or UT for over NPS 2.and MT or PT for NPS 2 and less.

In B31.1/table 136.4, the NDE requirement is mentioned for various temperature ranges. Does it mean that 100 % of  joints shall be subjected to the NDE mentioned. or what determines the percentage of NDE requirement.
