RE: [MW:16925] Electrode coating

Hi,

Damaged coating will affect the shielding from atmospheric air. Once shielding is not achieved, then defects like porosity and some times crack. Arc will not be stable and arc blow is also possible. Excessive and uneven spatters will be produced.

Thanks,

With kind regards,

M. vedaraju

Dear Expert,

i have received some low hydrogen electrodes with damage coating (i.e. it is uneven like one side more coating and another side less), i want to know what will be the effect and it is acceptable or not.
