Martin,
I seems that you are welding Bisalloy 80. So, because of the risk of stress relieve cracking PWHT should not be undertaken unless it is absolutely necessary. However if it is really unavoidable, PWHT should not exceed the tempering temperature and before stress relieve is applied, the toe of the weld should be blend by grinding in order to minimise occurrence of stress relieve cracking.

It is a low alloy medium tensile steel welded with E81T1 flux cored tubular wire. Can generally the weld seams welded with this type of wires be stress releived? Is the any unforeseen issues on behind of it?

Rutile flux is used to weld mild steel and is very ductile so no PWHT is usually required. In what type of wire was it in, and what type of steel was it used on?
