Subject: [MW:13813] Storage Tanks Steel Plates
Gents, We have an issue with the steel plate manufacturer that he is getting the Raw material in the form of steel slabs from other country, and he is doing the Pre-heating and rolling....etc for the Steel slabs to get the final required steel plates. Do we require having a mill test certificate for the steel slabs, or is enough to have it for the final steel plates. The supplier is telling that for the steel slabs all information is secret! Do we need to have the manufacturing process, inspection & test plan for the steel slabs. He has issued the Inspection & test plan for the processing of steel slabs to final steel plates. Please advice. Sohaib |
