You are correct that if any welder qualified with P1 material then range of his qualification P1 to P15f, P34, P41 to P49
But at same F-No. also essential variable. By this if any welder qualify in P1 then he cannot weld in P8 (SS 304) because change in F-No. essential variable.

Dear All,
as per ASME sec 9,
For welder qualification,
as per QW -350, P-Numbers are essential variable.
so change in p number needs to requalified.
& G-Number is not an essential variable. its no issues with G-Number.
1) My question is the above said are right or not..?
If any correction. pl let me know...
Q2) & is the welder qualified to weld P1 to P11, P34, P41 to 49.?
clear me on above issues..
Thanks & Regards
Srinivas
