Hurray I thought I was the only one that caught that about Panoramic on the L.S. It’s considered a SWE/SWV but not panoramic.

Subject: Re: [MW:10604] radiography of longseam by panaromic method
Hello Azmi
There's no such thing as panoramic shot on the long seam, it only applies to circ seams. As per my Level III, you only need one penny per shot but it's good practice to have one on both ends and on in the middle, If you don't agree to it, check the density of all the films and see whether it complies with the code re variance of density.

Dear All,
Greetings.
contractor has carried out radiography of the longseam of a vessel in one shot by panaromic method inspite of doing RT by sinlgle exposure method of each segment of the longseam.
while reveiwing RT films it was observed that few films for the longseam are not having penetrameter image on them.
kindly inform me whether it is acceptable to do RT of longseam by panaromic method and joint can be accepted with few films not having penetrameter image on them.
Construction code for the vessel is ASME SEC VIII DIV 1.
Thanks in advance for your valuable suggestions.
