[MW:9759] Fw: Minimum weld clearance in PIPING


Hi,


I have a case where the edge of the CS pipe fitting (90 deg. Elbow) coincides with the branch connection pipe's weld. Header size: 10" and Branch is 2". The fitting edge is supposed to be fillet welded onto the pipe.
Is this permissible?
Pls tell me the min. clearance between weld ( But weld & Socket weld)
