Vasu,

These situations are very common in fabrication. If there is an
interruption to welding then at least wrap in fiber wool and slow cool
the weld. Make sure you are adequately preheating and soaking before
continuing the weld next day. Alternatively you can do post heating
after interruption of weld and slow cool.

Please follow the same concept for any power failures.
