Hi Everyone,

SS bolts are very costly and not all coustomer advise to use in all lines,
It depend how critical is your line is otherwise, galvanise bolts with
insulation washer (kit) is a cheaper option instead of SS bolts.

Please inform bolts are required for onshore or offshore environment.

In offshore environments,

For SS flanges, even SS304 /316 ( due to crevice corrosion problems in
corrosive atmosphere ) Bolts are not preferred,

CS Galvanised bolts are any way not preferred due to galvanic corrosion
problems ( I think )

We use

a. UNS 32760 Bolts or

b. CS/LTCS + Fluropolymer coated bolts (see attachment)
