Dear Mr Pandithan,
In the machine I have selected the pulse mode itself. (GMAW-P). The position I am using is IG(rotating ) . As I am using the synergy mode in the machine the current and voltage is getting selected automatically when I am giving the wire feed speed. I am using the wire feed speed of 9.5 m/min, the voltage coming is in range 25V -28V and current in range 215 to 230. How to ensure I am not using the short circuiting mode?? I am using this process for pipe welding which includes both high and low thickness.
Regards,
Aby

As argon increase, %of penetration will come down and may get into porosity . Try with 85+15 with current of >250amps. spatter is inevitable in this process, u can reduce by another option with GMAW-P. If u work in Spray mode, spatter stiking into base metal will be less due to its sizesTHANKS & BEST REGARDS,KG.PANDITHAN, IWE, AWS-CWI, CSWIP 3.1,CONSULTANT-WELDING & QUALITYMobile no: +919940739349On Tue, Mar 21, 2017 at 7:12 PM, Prasad Rao <prasadrao31@gmail.com> wrote:This message is eligible for Automatic Cleanup!
