Re: [MW:22798] ASTM A 578 LEVEL B

It is not so simple as you describe it. It is a combination of total loss of back reflection with continuous indications.
Read 8.1 carefully and make a sketch of your indications

Dear All
In lamination check by straight probe , some lamination and inclusion detected but they have a echo height less that 15%. Acceptance of project is level B of ASTM A578.
Now  I want to know in 8.2 of A578 , small discontinuities must have total loss of back reflection or not?
Grade of material is API 2H GR 50 Z.
Regards.
