Dear Sachit,

It is happening due to high current welding in tube tube sheet joint. Actually tube projection shall be 3±1.5. It can be acceptable when tube punctured up to the tube sheet edge level, if the tube punctured beyond the tube sheet edge level(Tube to tube sheet expansion area) it's strictly not acceptable because there will be leakage in hydro or air test. In this case you should replace the new tube. In my experience there is no acceptable limit.
