This is not a problem when you perform all required tests for both
specifications on the test piece.
This means NDT has to be performed according to both ASME and EN codes and
you need separate NDT reports for each specification. But also different
tensile specimens need to be taken from the test weld because of different
size of these specimens according to the specifications.
In the past we performed procedure testing with only one set (2 pieces) of
Cross Weld tensile specimens according to EN specification because these are
wider than the ASME specimens. Because of an unknown reason today this is
not longer accepted by notified bodies which in my opinion is completely
stupid. Specimen wide for EN is 25 mm and for ASME 19 mm for Cross Weld
tensile specimens. Looking to the results there is no big difference between
both. Hopefully this problem will be solved by the next generation of the
EN-ISO 15614-1 which will become available soon.
You need to prepare you pWPS also in such way that all essential parameters
for both specification are mentioned on this document.
