Hi! For Burn Through in SMAW, when the material being welded is too thin while using bigger diameter electrode than what is required. For automatic welding, machine malfunctions may cause Burn Through like when machine travel or object being welded stops suddenly while there is continuous welding process. Also, for those requiring tack welds, when there is insufficient weld prior to full welding. Thanks.
