[MW:9770] Why not DGS method of UT in ASME Sec.V

Dear All,

Can anyone give reason why DGS method for sensitivity and sizing of defects in UT is not being mentioned in ASME Sec. V where as several of Europe / Russian and Nuclear codes follow the same. As per ASME, DAC is being used for the above purpose.

Can we approach ASME for the same.

Regards,
Raghavendra
