Pl. specify your code of constriction and additional contractual requirements, ASME IX doesn’t require both (RT as well as Mechanical tests) for WQT, unless it is specified in your contract or some other codes are applicable like IBR or high pressure piping (chapter IX in B31.3). In this case you have wait till completion of all the tests are done.
