In the project I am working on, the design requires the connection of steel pipes of diameter 1600 mm and cladded pipe to be joined. Due to design constraints, only internal weld of the joint is possible. We are planning on concrete haunching to protect the pipe externally. Will this be feasible?. Please advice me on this. Thanks.
