In Canada, Alberta, there are a formal Training but it's only one level "Field Heat Treatment Technician", in UK there are another in 3 levels for CSWIP "Requirements for Certification of Site and Workshop Heat Treatment Operatives"... AWS is still working in "D10.23M/D10.23, Specification for the Qualification of Personnel for Local Heat Treatment of Welds in Pipe and Tube Components"
