Dear Mr. Manoj,
During the Hydro test the set pressure of PSV that you had fixed in the manifold will be as 1.1 times of the line test pressure i.e 10% higher than the line test pressure.
Regards,
P.Balajirajan.

You should blank PSV during the hydro test or remove PSV from line/equipment.Because PSV set pressure is adjusted to %10 above of MAWP. But hydrostatic Test Pressure is 1,5 times of MAWP.You can't make hydrostatic test 1,5 times of MAWP because PSV will open when pressure comes to 1.1 times of MAWP.That is why you need to blank or remove PSV during the hydro testSaygılarımla, / Best Regards,Eyup TanMobile: +90 535 334 4912--On Tue, Dec 24, 2019 at 11:14 AM ViNo Varughese <vinopvarghese@gmail.com> wrote:--Dear Manoj,Please check through API RP 520 and you should find the set pressure requirement for PRVs. Typically it is set based on the MAWP or design pressure. However you also need to consider the static head between the protected equipment and the relied valve while deriving the set pressure.Hope this helps. Thanks and RegardsVinoOn Tue, Dec 24, 2019, 08:23 Manoj John <manojacgnr@gmail.com> wrote:Dear Experts,--As per B31.3 what is the PSV set pressure during hydrotest. Please give expert opinion as there is no clause found in B31.3 for hydrotest PSV set pressure, PSV set pressure for pneumatic only prescribed. Thanks in advance,Manoj
