If Lab is authorized by national, international (ISO/IEC 17025) or by the Client, you can review the parameters and you can approve. You should have adjustment there is no malpractice have done by both of them. You can also review any past experience with the lab and you can also go and witness the lab calibrations and qualifications, if everything OK then only you can make an NC for why there is communication gap happened? otherwise you can not reject the WPS unless there is any one suitable reason.
Just my opinion.
