Refer ASME Section IX, QW 407.1 as your dishend are single piece and will be normalized before welding. So you have to follow PWHT for qualification which is applicable after welding for your vessel.

One of vessel under fabrication will under go the fallowing heat treatments. (Material-516 G 70, shell-63 mm, dish end -75mm, dish end in one piece only)
  • Dishends Normalising-2 cycle.
  • PWHT for whole vessel.
Now shall I need to do all three heat treatment cycles to qualify WPS?
OR
Only two normalising cycles are enough?
