[MW:23651] RE: 23650] L.O.P Criteria according to AWS D1.1

Dear Sir

 

Regarding table 6.1 point 2 – weld/base metal fusion complete fusion is required so lack of penetration is not allowed for full penetration welds. For partial penetration welds the actual depth of penetration can't be examined by visual examination.
