Re: [MW:20489] using thinner for 100% solid volume paint

Dear Osman,

In Tankguard 412 data sheet they are silent about mixing thinner in paint during paint. As per the data sheet thinner 17 can be used only to clean the paint equipment's after application. Normally mixing thinner with paint will impact in DFT & curing time.

It you would have already used it better provide additional ventilation & ensure paint is ready for over coating.

It would more better to take suggestion from Jotun technical team.

Regards,
Hema Santosh.

Dears ,
is this approved for using thinner with painting which is mentioned in its data sheet to be 100 % SV
my case is Tankguard 412 .. solid volume 100%+- 2 ... they used thinner 17 ... is this thinner affect chemical structure of resin or thinner will just vanish
