[MW:20452] Fwd: Impact Test Acceptance criteria at higher design temperature



Dear All,


One of our PED project, we have welded  a test piece of SA335 P5 & A106Gr.B  having size 3'' Sch 40 for WPS/PQR qualification.The weld test piece have PWHT at 720'C , Keep holding time 01 hrs.


We have required  Impact test value as per our PED guideline as per below

 

Impact test at (- 20’C)  - Average Acceptance value 27 Joules minimum.

 

The test laboratory conducted Impact test at (-30'C) . The result of impact test at  (-30'C) is attached


Above impact test results are meeting PED requirements i.e. Average Acceptance value 27 Joules minimum.

 

Please throw some light on the above issue.
