Re: [MW:17504] how to make material data report (MDR)

Hi, MDR means Manufacturers Data Report/Record. There is no standard norm as such and many a times the clients require what should be the contents in the MDR/MDB (Book). However in general you can have the following for compiliation.
Table of Contents and indexes will be as follows
Final Release Note
Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
WPS and PQR
Welders Master List
Welders Performance Qualification
Material Test Certificates
Consumable Test Certificates
Welding Log
Materials and Welding Traceability Report/Record/Log (Weld Map)
NDT Procedures
NDT Personnel Certs
NDT Reports
Dimensional Reports
Hydrostatic Test Report
Heat Treatment Reports
Design and Calculations
Technical Queries
Non Conformances
Miscelleanous.
