[MW:17542] Re: PSL1 & PSL2 types in API 5L

Dear Experts ,

Can one of U share with me about API 5L pipes for the following doubts  :

1) On what design conditions, we can use PSL 1 & PSL 2 from the below mentioned types ?
 
 


2) Among these types, what type shall be used for Low Tempr service and what will be the lowest Tempr. can it be withstand ?


3) 

    Why is charpy Impact test not required ? Is that tensile strength related ?
