Dear Wajeed,
Just of interest, is it require 3LPE coating (Including Fusion Bond Epoxy(FBE) on SS 304?
Shall I know the application? Who is the manufacturer doing this job (for 3” dia means very small in dia)? Is the manufacturer is having the setup for 3LPE for 3” dia?
Further preheating to 400 is not required for 3LPE – (1st layer – FBE) just 180 – 200 Deg is sufficient, and
further 3LPE will be done while pipe is on rotation mode so longitudinal deflection chances are less and in 3LPE improper coating chances are very less, -
but only doubt on the manufacturer about the expertise for doing of 3” dia
Thanks and Regards................?

Subject: [MW:13452] 3LPE coating
Dear Experts
Pipe 3” wall thickness 3.05mm
Material SS 304
I wanted to coat external coating of 3 layer polyethylene by heating the pipe with 400 deg centigrade
1. Please let me know due to less wall thickness of pipe is there any longitudinal deflection while rolling the pipe
2. Is there any improper coating due to temp variation from super heater to coating die
In case yes, please let me know the solution for the same and please suggest related other coating which must comply the 3 layer polyethylene coating
Regards
Wajeed Ahmed
