Oxygen-fuel Cutting process oxidises the metal and the heat from the exothermic reaction melts the metal, But Plasma process operates by using the heat from the arc to melt the metal.
Stainless Steels having a high level of Chromium (Cr) cannot be cut by simple oxy-cutting methods due to the very high melting point of the Chrome Oxide which is formed.
By Plasma Process the Arc Cuts Metal the with Heat but faster cutting speed which gives less HAZ, also High quality cut edges can be achieved.

when u are heating, oxides forms. Oxy-acet has a Kindling temp of 1200 celcius. If any oxides after haeting exceeds this temp can not be cut by oxy-ace flamme
