Dear Philip,
 
Here you have not mentioned the type/grade of ASTM A 350 material. Remember that if impact testing is applicable in your production welding, then Group number will become a supplimentary essential variable.
 
Suppose that your PQR is qualified in P1 Gr. 2 material with GTAW + GMAW process, then you can very well prepare a WPS in A 105 material with GMAW process, subject to the condition that the weld metal thickness should not exceed from the qualified weld metal thickness range of GMAW process during PQR qualification.

Good day gents

Could  some one   in the  house  help me  out  with  these  code  explanation ,

Can a  PQR   welded on  two  process  GTAW( first pass )  +     GMAW ( second and third pass  on material ASTM  A 350  support    a wps to  be  used  for  welding  GMAW process on P 1   Group 2 material   (  ASTM  A 105  )?  Also help me with ASME ix interpretation for these.
