[MW:4180] Re: 4176] Impact Tested PQR for Non Impact Tested WPS

Dear Mr. Raghuram,

I am israr ahmed presently working in one of the co. in saudi arabia,

I am always confused in ASME Section IX 200.2 and 200.4, I have
qualifies two PQR, one for GTAW 13mm thick and another wirh SMAW 13 mm
Thick and now it is possible to combination welding with GTAW and
SMAW, if suppose I do GTAW 4mm and SMAW 11mm in a single test piece
will it possible to prepare 2 WPS one for root with thickness deposit
8mm and SMAW thickness deposit 22mm.
