Hi,
There is no std giving about the pitting tolerence.
If you refer the ABS Modu Code Part 2 (Page 12 ), they given the under tolerence for the thickness.
Upto 0.3mm is allowed on new plates for the certification purposes.
Which can be applied for the pittings as well.
Since the ultimate effect of the pittings is the thickness reduction , 0.3 mm shall be applicable to pittings as well(Irrespective of what grade material)
