[MW:3677] Re: welder base matel qualification

Dear Mr.Raghavan

Essential variables for Welder qualification are given in QW350 of
ASME IX. Looking to the tables for seperate welding processes you can
see they always refer to QW403.18 for P. no's qualified. First of all
material need to be listed in QW 422, if so look to the materials P.
no. and now look at QW 423 if this material is in the range of the
table under QW 423.1. When having a welder qualified for P. no. 1 you
can see in this paragraph that he is qualified for P. no. 1 throug P.
no. 11, P. no. 34 and P. no. 41 through P. no. 49.
