Client contractual requirements are final. so pl.comply to the requirements.
You may use this WPS for Structural welding provided you raise a deviation / technical query and get the client acceptance for this.

WE HAVE PIPES ASTM 53 Gr A GALVANIZED PIPE FOR HAND RAIL APPLICATION SCH.40 (3.67 MM) .IS THE ABOVE MENTIONED WPS IS COMPATIBLE FOR THIS APPLICATION OR NOT?  THIS PIPES BECOMES THE PART OF STRUCTURAL ...SO CLIENT REQUIREMENT IS NEEDS WPS BASED ON AWS D1.1.

IS IT MANDATORY?

BASE METAL COMING UNDER P1 ..SO IS IT POSSIBLE TO APPLY HERE OR NOT.
