Its not only WPS matter, welder also need to be qualified with respect to the approved WPS.

Please comment on the issue, Pipe to Shoe support fillet welding - Have WPS for SMAW process, can a welder do pipe to shoe support fillet welding in GTAW process.
Please note that for this specific project we don't have a wps qualified for GTAW process, only qualified wps for SMAW process.
