[MW:16514] non pr. part welding on pr. part welding

Hi guys

I have a query regarding sub. Matter. can I do non pressure part welding on pressure part welding in case of boiler (superheater ). If yes then justify your answer with code clause.

 

Problem:

Attachment welding is fouling with butt joint. Job is 100% RT ok along with 100% DP ok. I have ground flush the material & then welded the attachmet over butt joint.
