- What is your material?
- What is your filler metal?
- What is the heat treatment...?
If it is carbon steel and they are just doing stress relieving, there should not be a problem.
Just check the base metal's certificate for its tempering temperature (if any), you furnace shall not heat the spool to temperatures above that.
