[MW:12300] O-LET WELDING .......

DEAR EXPERTS ......

CAN ANYONE TELL ABOUT O-LET WELDING ....IN MY CASE WELD-O-LET JOINT WELDED ONLY 1.5 TIMES THICKNESS OF HEADER PIPE.... NOT COMPLETED FILL-UP ALSO .. WHATEVER THEY ARE TELLING ABOUT THIS THEY CAN AVOID PWHT FOR THAT JOINT ..... IF IT IS THEY ARE DOING FULL WELD ,UPTO BEVEL OF O-LET ,,AS PER THICKNESS OF WELD METAL THEY SHOULD TAKE ..PWHT ..... NW THEY ARE DOING 1.5 TIMES THK OF HEADER PIPE IN FABRICATION SHOP ... AND THEY WILL DO BALANCE WELDING AT SITE AFTER ERECTION AFTER A LONG TIME .......

MY DOUBT IS,  ITS POSSIBLE..?
WELD HAVE CHANCE TO HAVING CRACK..?
THERMAL EXPANSION HOW WORK ON IT ..?
NEED PWHT IF IT IS FULL WELD ..?
IF THEY ARE WELDING BALACE AFTER ERECTION,  NO NEED PWHT ...? WHY..?

PLEASE GIVE ME HELPFUL INFORMATION ..
THANK...
